Geoff Irish

ABOUT ME:

I was born and raised in Adelaide.  I completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (1^st Class Honours) at the University of Adelaide in 1988 and a PhD in poultry nutrition at the University of Sydney in 1992.  After completing my PhD I spent 3 years as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada examining methods of improving the nutritional value of soybean meal and predicting the nutritional value of wheat and barley for poultry.  

Since returning to Australia in 1996 I have been involved in the animal stockfeed and feed additive industry.  I have always had a passion for Infant Animal Nutrition and was thrilled to be able to join Maxum Foods in April 2020.

My hobbies include walking and watching my favourite AFL team, the Adelaide Crows, and almost any sport involving an Australian Team.
